Hmmm, don't see how I can do that easily in space battles. Not many places to hide, and not many objects. I got around it by making a background asteroid field, but this isn't an object. So I created a mine field and placed it over the asteroid background. I then renamed the mines to "asteroid ...

I see some interesting points. I would like to create a unit, say on furn 7, without a spawn point at the start, any unit, using a trigger, then rename that unit. Or, create a unit with a spawn point at start, rename it, then make it so the player can not be aware of that unit until a specific later...
