Teutonic knights reskin IMPLEMENTED

For the foot version
Reskin the hemet and maybe give it the horns
And add a cross on the chest

For the mounted version
Increase the size of the sword, shield and head and give chest a cross and Ive noticed that the only ones that wear the yellow cross was maybe some kind of hegher ranking unit with a different helmet top piece it looked like 2 horns connected together by a circle and the hockmeister and I couldnt find any painting of a yellow cross on a horse so maybe remove the yellow cross and just give the yellow cross to the komtur and o the hochmeister if it gets added

For the Lancer
Give it a Flag on its weapon the flag of the teutonic order

For the komtur
Maybe the yellow cross on shield and the horns with a circle connecting the horns together.
Wait actually the komtur have a flag so ill be editing that

Now that you mention it, i feel like editing some of them myself.
For the yellow cross only being for higher ranking individuals, the mounted knights WOULD be the high ranking individuals of the order. When someone thinks of Teutonic Order they think of the famous heavy cavalry only, however they also had many squires, halbbruders and other ranks.

If you want to edit the images yourself they are all on the original thread

I have moved them here from skin thread, i changed my mind and think they should just be a complete reskin because the more i look st my original versions the more my eyes hurt , thanks

Here are the versions with the visor down, im not sure which look better, the ones with visor up or visor down?

Maybe the visor down version can be the rework of current teutons, and the visor up can be a skin for it

In game the Teuton lancer will have the visor down but you can buy a skin which has a visor up, itll cost 1 gem

I am confused - why Hochmeister again?
Original idea was already implemented as Komtur, because Hochmeister - Grand Master of Teutonic Order is the title of 1 person, so either we start with unique units, make it map editor only or ignore it completely.
Also there is too less of a difference between komtur and lancer images - they have to be distinguishable in one look.
I think flag should be reserved for leaders and lancer should have visibly different helmet decorations.

There is also an idea - current teuton 3 turn foot unit is a mix between medium and heavy infantry. It doesn't exactly fit knight-brothers (well, maybe younger ones). It may be more like servant fighter representation.

Okay I took away the lancers plumage and flag, and changed komtur's flag to be extra special, courtesy of Sir Pat(hope you don't mind I used your flag design ), so I hope they are better now.
As for teuton knight I just made him more plain all round, fits better with the other teutonic units I think

I like where the 3 turn teuton is right now stat wise, he seems quite balanced to me, though I personally nearly never use his conversion ability, as it seems to have limited application. Sad you can only create him in castles and such, as people prefer to spam trebuchets

I have recieved a message from the future, that your first criticism upon seeing the new lancer is that he has no team colour, so i present two options

I really like the plume, so I keep this option but without the flag, however I understand if it is too similar to komtur

And a version without a plume, but a streamer on the lance so there is more team colour in the image

Or maybe you can try and create a version of it, if these do not suit you

First I need to ask to be sure to put them in the pack - the defaults should be e.g. "Teutonic Lancer HO visor down, plain.png", "Komtur HO vizor down.png", "Teutonic Knight HO.png" ?
Because I saw visor up versions in the skins, right?

OK. I'm replacing Komtur image, but on the one with thinner flagpole.
On lancer I added some team colors and changed the shape of the flag.

The current ingame teutonic knights helmet is simple looking and inaccurate .

Definitely not "inaccurate", just the great helm you use an example is the most famous.
