So It will be the best defensive unit from the peasants.

I've never used peasants, are they useful?

Yep, useful for a last stand on a town center - Peasant spam.
One thing though it requires town patrol so I wouldn't even bother using them. Its me but on All-upgrade maps I sure do.

On fog or explored maps town patrol is useful because it gives +2 sight range for most buildings including towers.

Yes I know it is useful for foggy and explored maps but I don't really use it
