One for you, maybe, @Endru1241 ...
[Edit] ...the moderator so good they named him twice
In the new and enhanced unit descriptions -
For Spies and Assassins, what does "can lure to carriers" mean?
And for the majority of cavalry, what is "counter only if dominates"?
I also play an RTS game called Life
And I also like drinking beer!
Spies when adjacent to enemy carrier allows player to see the contents of the carrier.
Most mounted units gets damage bonuses, also while counterattacking. But bonus is turned off if attacker has bonus damage vs said mounted unit (e.g. when vouglier attacks knight).
PS:
As for my name being listed twice - it means I am double moderator, so I can moderate the moderators. But I try to do it in moderation.
Jokes aside - probably fixable - I have some idea for what is causing this.
Ah OK - thanks for explaining that...I was puzzled there.
Hopefully by now you guys know that I don't want to criticise or find problems. It is because of your (and all the good people behind this game) admirable desire to continually make the game better that I keep pointing out little opportunities to improve. (And I am fully aware that many people here are not first language English speakers too).
"Can lure to carriers" does not really make sense in English - "can see into carriers/transporters" might be better.
As for Cav, perhaps it might be clearer to say "no counter bonus Vs Anti mounted" or something similar.
What is your first language @@Endru1241 ? I am soon to disappear for a summer of travelling , so I won't be an active player for a few months, but if you want someone to go through the text files to fine tune and proof-read the English version of the text, please let me know. I have spent 5 years being the "foreigner" in different countries, so my language skills are pretty good, and I certainly know how difficult it is to speak a language that is not your own.

Can lure to carriers - it is fixed to "can see into carriers"
no counter bonus Vs Anti mounted - this can not be as this is a general thing so like "no counter bonus Vs ones has bonus against it" or something. but it needs a short version - please advise.
that is why i came up with this: "counter only if dominates" meaning will only counter if he is the dominatiog one. (enemy has not bonus against him)
1st one is no good - text has to be universal, preferably even across "Age of" versions.
"No counter bonus vs bonus attacks" would be quite good, but it's long. And strictly interpreting it - suggests lack of counter bonus in case of some additional attacks.
So fully descriptive would be "No counter bonus vs attacks with bonus". But it's even longer.
I use english on te daily basis in work, but I have no idea how to properly set short text for it.
Ones with bonus vs cav are mostly polearm welders, correct?
So why not just say no counter bonus vs polearm?
Or if not, why not "no counter bonus vs anti-cavalry"
Leader of the Aegis Protectorate, the proud Defenders of Ambidia! If you would like some heavy protection, we can do some mercenary work... but such elite warriors come with an elite price.
Because only now it's ability of cavalry units. It can be given to other units.
There are also other versions of "Age of" and engine is one.
So descriptions generated by engine are better as universal.
In that case I guess mention what counter only if dominates means elsewhere in the game. Maybe stick it in the faq section, or mention it in a loading screen tip.
