Unit description: German Landsknecht meaning "servants of the land", were colourful mercenary soldiers with a formidable reputation who took over the Swiss forces' legacy and became an important military force of the late 15th- and throughout 16th-century Europe. Consisting predominantly of German and Swiss mercenary pikemen and supporting foot soldiers, they achieved the reputation for being the universal mercenaries of early modern Europe.

Yes - mercs definitely need bespoke anti-cav. I know they have the billman, but he's a bit more multi-purpose.

From my experience Vs a certain enthusiastic mercenary captain ( @Squirrel5555) the Achille's heel of a Merc army is being countered by upgraded cavalry with a handful of missile troops in support.

Given that the Landsknecht were considered the elite of pikemen, I think there is scope to increase bonus - should probably be able to one hit kill at least the first level of most cav (except maybe shield knight).

Actually - I was trying to avoid adding them to AoS.
I am trying to fit up to the end of 15th century or "could have been" and their style is so modern it just asks for other known early modern period units.
If someone will make good image - I ask to just use it as skin for swiss pikemen, which I plan to add as specialized anti-cavalry mercs.
The name could be made to be more universal if someone has any idea, but regular image should be not very colorful - steel armor, helmet similar to arbalest.

Haha, I would have liked this unit, guess swiss pikes are fine too.

Nice image, but would have liked for the swiss pikes to look more iconic tbh. Maybe give them some gambeson instead of plate?

Or/and maybe some colored (red?) pants.
I gave my initial idea, but soon realised he could be too similar to elite pikeman.
