This includes images, videos, audio, stat suggestions, balance sheets, and any other files submitted for use in the game.
To ensure we can safely implement your amazing work without future legal complications, all submissions must meet the following terms:
- `Royalty-Free & Perpetual`: All contributions are offered entirely for free. No monetary compensation, royalties, or licensing fees will be owed now or in the future.
- `Right to Modify (Derivative Works)`: You grant the Developer the right to modify, edit, recolor, re-skin, or adapt your asset in any way necessary (e.g., adding player colors, shading, camo variants, etc.).
- `Multi-Game Usage`: The asset (and its modified versions) can be used across any and all current or future AO Games variants, spin-offs, or sequels.
- `Irrevocable License`: Once an asset is submitted and implemented, this grant of rights cannot be revoked. Because assets are integrated into the game's palette, we cannot remove them later easily.
- `Commercial & Non-Commercial Use`: The Developer holds the right to display, distribute, or utilize the assets in any form within the games, whether as free content or as part of paid upgrades, skins, avatars, or features.
By submitting your assets or suggestions to the Developer, you agree that you are the original creator of the work (or have the legal right to share it) and agree to these terms.
So DEV can only accept the very much appreciated offers that fit to these above.
Rewards for ContributorsWhile we cannot offer cash compensation, the Developer loves to reward our community creators!
Depending on the scale and type of contribution, we may offer:
- A permanent spot on the Contributors List (currently in the helpfile).
- A place in the "Hall of Fame".
- Exclusive Discord badges and roles.
- In-game currency rewards.
