same way as in Age of Empires. You needbthis research to upgrade units (blacksmith techs) and to research new units (for example halberdier).
This is Hungary and winter is coming.

I vote no. Some people said they only like the game because they thought it would be a ripoff of age of empires and were pleasantly surprised when they saw that it wasn't. Please don't make this change. I feel it is an unnecessary feature.

IMHO, I would like to see more of an in game 'technology tree' using the upgrades already purchased.
