I think deep snow can be change to frozen lake instead.

It does look a lot more like it than deep snow. For deep snow you should use similar colors to snow tile, and then add shading to make the snow appear taller. Deep snow can be found in game as a mound of it or something when it's singular, and become part of the landscape when it increase size.
