I made a map+tileset. Now we can see how they look together. On the Tileset in Tiled I put in some unit info properties, but I want to change it later to 3: Nation, Type, Name.

**NOTE ON THE STARTER PACK** You must use the terrain from AoS for now - the file is too big to upload at present.

cool!

- i think we have a few tank units too.
- from here i can suggest that indeed, infantry should be 2-3 px smaller and maybe thinner (i was imagining the tank too).

So the battleships overlapping: I think it does not look right. I have three proposals.

1) I can make the battleship a bit shorter. This might be simplest.
2) The overlappers on left AND right. I have these in the example. (To make the image, I used lots of different layers.)
3) Maybe Daniel can define a new type of terrain - shore. These are the half land and half sea and battleships cannot go on them.

no, that will not look right ever.

i may, but that will not help the weird overlapping with other ships or bridges.

The battleship overlaps are a little bit weird, but when we define a 2x1 size there wouldn't be a problem. And we need it for the bigger ships
What color is your flag when it's burning?!

I will try drawing at a slightly different angle. Would it overlap up or to the side?
I don't think2*1 will work because that would make weird moving exceptions. But that might fit for battleships? Because they were not as maneuverable?

Here is two examples that I tried to do as you liked, Daniel. One is the old one made smaller and the other is the one from the new angle. They are 45x32 and 40x32 respectively.

CoolGuy: they look good! try keeping the 32 px in width. maybe a little more from front angle?

i can see that you have found in quite a clever way that the ship body must not overlap anywhere - but the towers and emerging stuffs on the ship can!
