Re: Tournament of Dragons
If undead use the strategy I said, the best thing elves could probably do is go moslty for sentinels and ents. Both are tough to kill, and there won't be many bodies for the undead to raise. You could have some long range archers to harrass the death knights and try to make them charge in to a bunch of sentinels, but it would be a much more challenging game for the elves.
I have yet to play undead vs elves with my new strategies, so I don't know if it is OP, but I have a feeling it probably isn't too much. Sentinels are still pretty solid, and pose a problem for death knights.

Re: Tournament of Dragons
Sentinel vs death knight, no upgrades, full hp, one attack:

Tested attack and counterattack, both have the same results.
With strengthen: sentinel is left with 7 hp, death knight has 24
Without strengthen: sentinel is left with 4 hp, death knight has 29
Death knight also has 6 speed, so it can easily pick the battle. Trample also can devastate nearby units the sentinel meant to protect, as can fireball.
Sentinels simply cannot compete with death knights, despite being anti cavalry units.

Re: Tournament of Dragons
Yes, they are tough to bring down even with sentinels. How much do sentinels cost again though?

Re: Tournament of Dragons
hm so a player could make 4 sentinels for every 3 death knights...
That is pretty chellenging to an elf player lol, but coupled with ents I would be interested to see how a game like that would go.

Re: Tournament of Dragons
It depends on the player. If he's fighting the undead, he should make at least something that is great against them.

Long time no screen.
Here is one. General had a tc advantage shortly, becouse I weren't able to take those near to my tcs before him. Now,thanks to light cav rush,Im taking it. This wolf rider might be a problem, but if I hold,I should be able to overwhelm orcs (lol).

Re: Tournament of Dragons
General seems a bit more lucky now, lol.
And yes, Green Dragons can be frighteningly strong, especially when spammed. I think General is about to learn that at our other game.
Try to get some Hamletbacks and some troll shamans near them, every time the enemy hits your hamletbacks you gain another dragon
(I remember someone called this the "skele-manuever" when I suggested this
)

That one guy that disappears for 6 months then comes back and keeps doing it over and over.

Re: Tournament of Dragons
No thanks, find a way to make my own unit. Anyways I don't have to kill him with the dragon. I want to end them with Richard.

So the time has come....
For the sake of entertainment, honor and mindless slaughter we will fight.
May the best stand above the other and shout with pride words of satisfaction...
I choose the "villages" (the bigger of the 2) map
Let the blood flow .... Let the gods see the strife of men and be jealous of their fate...

He has one, having no one to fight. But seriously, have you tapped on him. The only way you can kill him is by a cowardly way. Assassination.
