He still looks waaay too modern for aof.
So no.
As for ranged unit with burning weapon passive i think alex will add them later to basic humans.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
i mean the concept itself. even that is too modern for aof i think.
For example i never saw in any steampunk at most game flamethrowers.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Unused units:
Tent - we can use it as a basic human gem cheap buliding (two turns?) with one carry capacity and, lets say, 10 heal rate. So a field hospital of sort, sounds good for me.
Herald - we disagreed with puting it in I think
Cersers (or whatever they were called) - images at least can be used in beastmens race
Wardog - beastmens race again?
Flamer - I don't thing it looks too modern for a dwarfs, how about changing it into dwarven unit?
Lead holder - Maybe as basic humans gem unit?
Hound knight and dismounted version - no idea, maybe some Hounds of Justice forum heroes might summon those xD

I still want the Herald, we could change his name and what it can do.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Tent i want to be changed firstly - less teamcolor.
Herald - it will be too much to have from 18 units 5 with different auras. also Marshal and Cavalry captain are better looking. Alas as for unit for main part of humans he can fit. Even without name change. (But what he does doesn't even suggested for now
)
Flamer - idk about this. i think still too modern even for dwarves.
Lead holder - i didn't use this one because it is a rifle. no even for basic humans.
Wardog - actually i think this one can be a replacement for current dog with a bit better stats (a bit higher health if to be more correct)
Cersers - agree.
Hound Knight and dismounted one - i don't even know...

This one if to be correct can fit that role.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
And the hound knight. Dismounted / mounted part I'm not a fan of. I think it should just stick to one and the other one not being used can be a separate unit with own stats
And thanks, I now have more ideas for them

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
The flamer can be explained by using arcane push the flames out. Or maybe he pumps it out like those things blacksmiths use to keep the fire going.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Some of Veil units are right now separated i think because they were suggested by myself before this thing.
Those things blacksmiths use are just for increasing temperature of fuel. they can be used for flamethrower. also i don't like idea of flamer in general no matter where it will be.

Same as the lead holder with arcane. They don't have black powder look like Dwarf, what's the use magic to replace that even though it's weaker.

Well I could replace it with a pot thrower.makazuwr32 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 6:23 pm Some of Veil units are right now separated i think because they were suggested by myself before this thing.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
That is a bit better but pots 1. will end usually fast. 2. are pretty heavy for throwing. so for humans specifically it can't fit as for me still.
Fire ballista or just a fire archer will be MUCH better.
Also please add them to the main body of human race, not to Warfell sub because it won't be good for such a good units.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Soo, how exactly will these subraces work? Do they coincide with the basic race but require something to get or what?
Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Agreed, well atleast main race having a fire archermakazuwr32 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 6:29 pm That is a bit better but pots 1. will end usually fast. 2. are pretty heavy for throwing. so for humans specifically it can't fit as for me still.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
we don't know for sure.
For warfell i think this way will be the best.
For undeads i think they will just have their own buildings where they can be recruted and that is all.
For other races i don't even know - didn't think about their subs much.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
We don't really have a thing what subrace can be, The orc is basically made of subraces and Scaledfolk. Including some parts of the elves.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Hm. Actually i have an idea that can fit for this unit but it needs more those symbols and metallic - looking barrel.
He must shoot not some steel bolts but magic clusters to the enemy. Can have high range (6-7) but is highly inaccurate (15-20% chance) because it is prototype.
Alex approved only basic idea of them. Not stats and expansion i suggested.
