Falcata-Rhomphaia thracian IMPLEMENTED

Post by L4cus »

Ancient two handed swordman form the thracian civ. This weapon was able to go throught the shield and armor of roman soldiers and break them. His habbility would be ignore armor. His stats would be:
Cost:3
Hp 18-23
Attack: 13-16
Armor 1
P Armor 0-1 ( there are versions with a small shield)
Range 1
Sight 4-5
Speed 3-4
Spell resistance 0%
This unit will have bonus v inf and roman units
Also a bonus against armored units ( heavy units ?)

The diference in hp and attack is because of the rol in the game
Full attack unit
Hp 18
Attack 16

Balanced sword unit
Hp 23
Attack 13

Here the shielded version

The shielded version could be an upgrade for the rhamphaia, like "elite thracian warrior" or "shielded (or armored) rhamphaia swordman" with more hp, attack and armor (both, the normal and P Armor). Then, the first stage would be "fanatic rhamphaia warrior" with no armor ( they used to fight almost naked)

Now i am thinking on the posibility that, when this unit deals damage to another one, he gets cut and gets the hemorrhage status, losing hp per turn and the armor broken, -1/-1. This is based on the rhomphaia mortal swipes, a wapon able to break shield and armor, dealing deep cuts

Shadow is too black - use some transparency.

While using semi-transparent black, You could also shade it a little (darker at the edges to get 3d effect, a little darker on lower parts).

I already did it
Stats
Cost 3
Hp 23
Attack 10
Range 1
Armor 0/1
Speed 3
Sight 4

+70% v heavy foot meele
+40% v heavy cav

Causes hemorrage on attacked foes. (We can discuss this)
Spell: fury cutter: power 12. Range 1. Effect: reduces damaged foe armor -1/-1

This needs anything else,@Endru1241?

I think bleeding is out. 90% of the units should cause bleed, so we're just skipping this effect all along.

But his main attack could damage armor.
In this case only indicator would be needed to bring this unit to the game.
