Buff Elephant Archer

Post by AgentA »

Hello, people. I would like to suggest to buff the slow tanky long range unit called Elephant Archer so people can remember that this unit exist.

Suggestion:
Add a skill that makes the Elephant attack. But no AoE (power range) so player can have option to use the elephant to attack in melee. About the damage of the skill... maybe 10 base power melee attack with War Elephant damage bonuses will do, +2 base power on Heavy Elephant Archer and maybe give them 1 turn on cooldown so it can't do melee attack constantly.

With this change, Elephant Archer can now squash a Skirmisher who goes toe-to-toe with an elephant because he's confident that he will only take 1 damage on attack and counterattack. It's role is still there; to be a moving tower while poking damage to enemies in reachable range while being tanky, and to block the road like the Pokemon Snorlax did.

The numbers may vary for balance purposes. This is just an idea and I don't mind if this will be rejected.
