Re: English units
Hello guys.
So what happened to the art style
these guys look a bit generic not going to lie, however the musketeers looked amazing. Would be better if you changed their formation though.
What century are the swordsmen? We need this information so we know if they look correct or not. If they are basic 15-16th century units they look like 13th century. Need more armour, and it would look better if the faces were smaller and with less detail, like the musketeer faces. Right now they are not very well proportioned to the rest of the body.
Use as much space as possible!
Also its cool that we have image for a 17th century musketeer, but we must start from basics, then we will know how the stats will work.
So is each individual soldier around 32 pixels tall? After weekend I might have some time to try make a few images too, for now, have fun guys.

Re: English units
here i again suggest not making front facing unit images, as they look not so natural on terrain.

I agree that their heads are a bit unproportioned but also thats how english soldiers of the 1500-1550s looked likeSquirrel5555 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 8:42 am Hello guys.

Re: English units
As for the swrodmen i think only a couple factions should have them, if we go for historical accuracy, swordmen as we think of them, were only used by the spanish empire and the austrians around the 1550s-1650s, so in my opinion english swordmen shouldnt be a unit, unless we make a generic swordman.
Also quad, can you look at earlier sprites so you can work with the 1450s-1500s units?
