The Puckle gun was a primitive crew-served, manually-operated flintlock revolver patented in 1718.

Have u seen sprite for machine gun at aoww?
U can use it as a base for the puckle gun image...
Also, the marines have to be from 18th century. They dont look historicaly accuarate...also, i didnt know marine officers wore caps...
I have seen images about trafalgar and officer clothes look different...
Also, almirant will be a different unit such as infantry officer

Dont worry quad the original sprite was made by me.

I want to compliment you as you have done a lot of work in very little time, i used to do even 6 sprites a day but eventually gave up, keep it up.

Also for historical reference google what unit you want to make and if you dont find anything contact me.

Also the macemen can be transformed to some sort of foot knight or militia.

They look cool quad really cool but keep in mind that we are working in periods.

1450s-1500s-1550s-1600s-1650s--1700s-1800s

Whenever you want to make a sprite choose on of these periods and google their uniforms and such so we can keep the historical accuracy

Howitzer... Sooooo Hard thankfully I found a sprite.

In the taxonomies of artillery pieces used by European (and European-style) armies in the 17th to 20th centuries, the howitzer stood between the "cannon" (characterized by a longer barrel, larger propelling charges, smaller shells, higher velocities, and flatter trajectories) and the "mortar" (which was meant to fire at even higher angles of ascent and descent). Howitzers, like other artillery equipment, are usually organized in groups called batteries.

He is right...howitzer had a different role than regular cannons and mortars
1st. The range was higher than cannon but lower than mortars
2nd. The proyectile trayectory was similar to mortar so it could reach troops behind a hill or mountain

I was thinking on giving each artillery piece a different role
cannon, 3-6 range, better against infantry
howitzer, 5-7 range, an standard bonus against both infantry and buildings and maybe a big area damage
mortar 8-9 range effective against buildings (the replacement for threbuchet)

Also we could add coastal defences, like artillery bateries with high bonus against ships

Tell me if u like this idea, or another u have...

Im sorry but that howitzer is not from this time period. That is from the middle of the 20th century :D

If you search up howitzers used in the 17th century and later you will see they are basically small cannons that were hard to maneuver, however were eventually moved around on large wheels. They were similar to mortars but with a wider variety of trajectories, originally meant for sieges.

As for mortars it depends, just like cannons. They were originally meant for sieges, with massive sized mortars, however there are also much smaller mortars which were used against infantry, both used in the time periods we are working in.

My suggestion was for generic cannons-howitzers-mortars...of course there are some variations light handcannon, handmortar, light artillery, etc
