Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Sorry guys can you simply decide 5 or 6 units and 1 or 2 buildings/megabuildings for the warfell subrace?
I see too many things and you are making even more
Warfell should mostly have the same amount of units that have other subraces (imperials, uruks, phantoms)

Or you can make this a new human faction, this subrace has too many units and it will be a waste it we just pick a few units.

No worth making new humans! The shadow King wrote: ↑Tue Aug 28, 2018 9:38 am Or you can make this a new human faction, this subrace has too many units and it will be a waste it we just pick a few units.
We have to improve the current ones(with not only heavier version with current units)
This would be a copy just everything heavier armed. Same structures orientation and such.
So need select what to bring in from Warfell in way to not be isolated completely but sharing tech and structures.
Like Alexander said the would be the best.

But all I need, I bear inside

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
What happened to the dog people? Those ones stood out to me over every other unit cause it would of added another race to the humans that would have acted kinda like the dentist or satyer does for elves and miniature for orcs.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Perhaps a cape or something similar to all the helmets. Also I'm pretty sure these are simply macemen or spearman.

Here don't know if the cape is visible much.

Thank you, I definitely like the look on it as it does fit my theme. Perhaps I should ask you for more help when I need it.

Here's the Cerler champions. (long sword variant of the Cerler guard)
Should I make a skirmishes variant with a bola to add flavor?

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Absolutely worth it.
It been decided for the skirmishers to be Maceman, perhaps that suggestion would be perfect for the skirmishers replacement.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
So human skirmishers will be macemen and the loyal cerlers be skirmishers. Should it have a bola as an ability?
My suggestion for the bola is this:
Bola:
Research cost: 4-5
Dmg:6
Special: can turn a flyer into a grounded unit leaving it vulnerable to ground based attacks. Also eliminates targets movement to at least 1. Target can still attack and defend themself as normal.
Cool:4

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Well if orcs got minotaurs, elves got satyers and centaurs, humans can get Cerlers. (One of these days I'll get the name right, maybe I'll get lucky.
) this will in turn give the humans a new fantasy race that will stop the complaints of those who say the humans lack in. Plus their dog people, man's best friend why would they choose anyone else, especially lions considering how they are cats!

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
1. Satyrs and some others who are elven units are forest inhabitants and ofc they became friends of elves.
2. As for fantasy look better add them some angels, valkyries, elementals... These ones are approved by alex as part of humans. Just expand it.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Exactly, not sure how they got them, probably something to do with that werewolf and some magic...

Also I meant you can make one using the Bola, but I suppose a ability can work.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
I'd prefer no beast units for human. I think that the fantasy part can come from magic, enchanted equipments and creatures like dragons/gryphons/pegasus

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
But their getting werewolfs. 3 dog units Won't keep them from being humans they just could be long distant relatives of werewolves. Basically those few werewolves who couldn't turn back to humans eventually led into what we have now, Cerlers. In LOTR the Wargs are long distant reletives of werewolves which were said to have orc spirits imbued into them by sauron. They were bigger wolves that could speak basically and we're used as spys. And, no they didn't move like humans they moved normally like a wolf.

This is another race of humanoids. They are a different thing.Savra wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 5:09 pm But their getting werewolfs. 3 dog units Won't keep them from being humans they just could be long distant relatives of werewolves. Ok animals and the werewolf is a human with a curse/illnesses but those are another race and I don't see it well with humans.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
Well I still see them being with humans they are just a subrace and are no different to humans as minotaurs are no different to orcs or centaurs and satyers are no different to elves. Besides beastclans got gnolls.

Re: Human Subrace: Warfell.
With that thinking we should have units from every race in every single race
I'll summarize:
Humans are humans and ally with other human countries and tame animals/monsters. I can see hobbits allies with humans since they share similar values and lifestyles
Elves allies with other elves and with nature units/good beasts that follow the same attitude
Orcs are a collective of monstrous races that are on the evil/aggressive path and thus they can ally with beastly races that share the same nature
Dwarves are with other dwarves and gnomes
Scalefolks are a collective of reptilian races
Undeads are undeads and ally with evil entities from other planes
We should at least respect the guidelines or we'll start give elven heroes to orcs because they are just another race as minotaurs.
