These would go under the category of tame beasts/monsters. so it still fits in with humans. As for hobbits you could call them halflings too.

No, these are humanoides. They would fell into slavery at least.

Anyway we can make them humans if you want that unit so badly.

Currently I have no Wi-fi.

After doing a lot for the community, can I least have some creative choices? Unless you want me to have my own version of everything. We can make this work as human being curse or magical experiments or simply heavily magical area evolve them.

This is not against you @General Brave.

I allowed the implementation of warfell as a reward for your work but I also told you that not everything was fit for that.

Also, as I told before, I think that warfell already have a big amount of units so there is no need to create more at the moment.

Also: when planning units for the different races we usually opened topics for every unit or most of them. A single topic for the whole race is difficult to follow.

Okay I keep as them map only for now. And by the way isn't it easier to keep everything in one post instead of having multiple and trying to find them.

@Alexander82 I thought that was only this case for the races already implemented. Isn't keeping the troops/bulidings in one topic for sub races and races not implemented better vs making a bunch of different topics for races/sub races not in?

The problem is that is not easy to discuss what should be in, what should be edited and when you want to check the discussion related to a specific units is a pain in an 8 page topic

And even harder to decide whether a unit is needed if the main race until that has no such

No magic ballista until main has none

Until Werewolf - stats and skill- aren't ready
And some independent magic creatures(I mean no mount) are in, no more complex halbreeds.
After Can see clearer make some background for main race and decide if future one fits.

And leader units - with 3 possibilities from main and 3 from Warfell.

it's not logic to double all units from basic (spearman, Archer, swordman, etc with
all own building ) to a subrace what will need a research too - and at end reaches bigger numbers than main one.
The subrace suold strengthen wat is lacking from main one.

Fortifications, mine and such would be great.)


Not sure how General wants cersers, but if not here than in taverna for mercenary maibe.
I hope ur expectation still can come true :)

As far as they have a different cost and some particular ability (e.g. the magic crystal stimpacks and/or the cooldown gun) I think they can have their own role

Anyway I agree with you that there is no need to duplicate everything

The idea for the cerlers is that the guard is supposed to act as a armoured orc warrior does, the long sword or champion however you want to call it is supposed to act like an offensive unit like the two handed orc swordmen.
The skirmishes variant is supposed to supply the humans with a better skirmisher to combat the many strong archers and dragons the humans be facing.

To be honest I don't think it is necessary to replicate every orc units. Those are 2 different races and the orc heavy hitters are mostly meant to make for the lack of siege units

Anyway there are already the imperial units to act as heavy duty units and I'm also going to expand them (we can't stay with 20 warfell units and 5 imperials) since they are meant to be top tier with higher cost

Please let's stick to the human units.

I thought the Waddell were only supposed to get 15 units and 3 buildings? That's what I heard that is. Btw Orcs don't exactly lack in siege in fact they exel at it. As for cerlers they are supposed to go in with the Warfell, and according to you'd plan they have to be researched first before use.

You know we could change the champion to something else like maybe take away the area damage and leave it to have higher attack but lower defense. As for the guard we could give it good armour and less attack. As for the skirmisher it's probably the only one that is good the way it is. Just have it have good pierce armour and maybe just 1-2 actions, probably just one though since it has the bola.

Dev statement on Warefell:

As Alexander promised to General Brave:
- Warefell units can come in as new subrace, meaning a tech will unlock the possibility to build/invent them
- my opinion is that put in ONLY those unit that are EXTENDING the current units, eg. do not make a copy of a skirmisher as a "warefell skirmisher" there is no point, put in the other Warefell specific units only that EXTENDS the unit variety.
- images: i see many good images, but i see other images that need polisings before putting in - so please consult Alexander on ALL new unit images as he has a good touch / he is gifted in determining a good image also He can adjust them to be nice. so: Please ASK Alexander on ALL new image asssets if that fits the current quality and "angle" requirements.
