I like the 30x30 and 40x40 maps. Many of the 20x20 maps give unfair advantage based on town placement and start locations. I just played a gem bet game that was 20x20. It was the one that has a big x making 4 quadrants. My opponent and I were places in the same quadrant. Once we knew what was going on, it became an arms race, no time for development or real strategy. Never seen that happen in the 30x30 maps. At least with the larger maps, bad town placement, can be offest with time to develop defense, upgrade selections, and attacking strategy.

Ok, right now the rules (here: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=1325 ) allow any map to be used. So the game creator (higher ranked) will choose the map for the match when he sets it up.

30 By 30 maps are definetly my favorite.. I just agree that 50 by 50 takes to long making it boring

Probably not. I'm not very good but anyway I sometimes don't take my turns in time.

I don't see why not sortablebird and others wants in the tournaments

I haven't played a multi player yet, but I've played all published maps a few times. I'm interested in playing multi player and league games if scheduling works out.

Contact league directors one of them may know how to start another league? It was talked about if there was enough interested )
