Siege Tower 8 turn build same building as fortress @ 100 Hp : movement 1: carries 2 units: 2 Pierce armor

No, the mantlet does not work any more.
Nothing gets in, not even archers.

The Mantlet is an effective use for foot soldiers and as above stated how I feel about them. Due to the update and select players in favor for siege transportation perhaps we can make "The siege tower" to carry Siege weapons only.
Note that if we have The Mantlet for single soldier protection and if we were to create a Siege Carrier for the siege units. It'd be pretty cool but with the use of wagons a player could transport workers and siege weapons dropping off workers to create the Mantlet and such devices while the wagons quickly transport catapults and such to front lines and we could just mass produce shielded Siege weapons. Enough workers and you can have Mantlet in one turn. Mobile. So if devs do create a siege carrier I Inquire redesign of wagon limiting to foot soldiers. Withdrawing Horse and Siege units from ability to use wagons.
