Btw,shoudnt legionares got spear?

Roman Legionnaire gets a gladius, a Short sword. They do get a throwing spear but they mainly use the Gladius.

That picture is actually very decent!
And technically, Legionairres had a gladius, and throwing spears, not a normal spear. However, I think we should just stick to gladius right now, although giving legionairres the ability to have a weak ranged attack might be a cool upgrade for them.

Both images look like they are headed in a good direction. I think Doom's suggestions are pretty good.

You are doing a great job Mighty.
I suggest just to try the same coloring of the centurion for the hoplite armor (it is the same used for other elite units in game) that is a mi of yellow and orange.

To be honest i always tought that It was strange that a hoplite was such a armored unit (even regarding stats)
About the shield i'd go for red or woodem
