What happened with the spiritmancer? Did it hit cold water, or will that come surfing around (not as a dwarven monk)?

I still think the Undead should have control over spirits, even humans should have some affect on the spirit world like in fantasies.

It changed into this. Don't worry, it's still in undead. It's more of the priestly monk, just for a darker version.

We could give this summon to priest even, but no explosions unless it's possible to steal dark magic techs from Undead and applied to them.

Players even say that they are useless without convert, so this will be their substitute.

Seems a little dark for human priests, but maybe something similar could work.

If burning people on a large wooden beam is deemed okay back then.

What's summoning a little spirit to fight evil gonna compare to that?

I had an idea to adjust exorcism to a more useful spell, as say a direct 8 damage to anything, with a high bonus against undead. Rename to holy wrath or something. I've noticed priests are pretty useful as is, just in small numbers.

For a human version i'd be more on a classic ki fighter more centered on melee (maybe 4 attacks) with ki blasts and some autohealing.

I'm talking about the priest, which unlike a monk is focused more on rituals and worship than physical discipline. That doesn't preclude the existence of such a monk, it's just a different unit. The two are about as alike as mage and warmage.
