I don't know if it could be possible but is there a way to release it on PC's and then on Steam as F2P
with workshop (Map designs,New unit ideas etc.)
I sure it would bring some people

they are ok, but they need background for readibility (like on your samples, there was a red carpet behind)
also you can try the same character as the "age of strategy" sign, here what i used:

The fonts I've Made was from cooltext.com (Fantasy Font).
I Will Add A Background for fonts in my editor soon.

idea1: what about mirroring the ribbon? (like in clash of clans, the the sides curves upwards not downwards)
idea2: also can we see in blue color?
idea3: also the characters needs to be thicker for better reading - imho.
but seems awesome!

I don't know how to make the fonts bigger, so I tried adding a shadow or 3dish, how about this?

Q1: i think we can remove the shadow, that looks little weird.
Q2: also i love the blue one! but that is not that smooth colored (homogenous) as the red one, is that because of some some jpeg compression?
Q3: can u send me the blue and red "ribbon" only - so i can also make ideas on it?

here i tried to clear the ribbon and a quick GIMP text on it
if somebody have time to play with fonts and font color maybe any font effect, or using coolfont to it that is welcome.
here is the current setting in gimp (i can send the xcf file if u ask)
font: Microsoft YaHei UI Bold
size: 70
color: ultra white

Kind of blurry, needs to be sharper, dramatic, intriguing.
I can do it but my screen shot file it's a bit too big and if I tried to make it smaller the quality drops.
