Wat is there to talk about him? U have given the stats, the pictures and everything and now it only depends on wat cool guy and Daniel thinks and whether it is ready for voting or not. So instead let's talk about how to balance the game if this was actually implemented

Maybe its +1 speed, but that is why his cost is +2 higher
Is it good?

Then they can one-shot every polearm unit, so I guess there should be some new anti-cavalry unit(Which is not a special unit)

Bit more armor, hp and damage for 3rd level of knight are OK but do not give it more speed. Being faster while having stronger armor just doesn't make sense.
And upgraded knights with 6 speed would make all those lighter cavalry units soon obsolete. Why would one bother with hussars then?
If any changes in speed should be done, make lev3 knights actually only speed 4: more armored and much more healthy variant of chariot, for one extra turn and with long research time.

It will become slower but stronger, a choice that you are really going to make.

If that is the upgrade, then I would rather vote for the shield knight unit, and its upgrade in the future

If he's wearing more armor shouldn't he be more heavier which means slower. It wouldn't make sense for him to go even faster unless it's opposite in this world.

The role of defensive 4 speed unit belongs to shield Knight not upgraded Knight

Do You realize it's old topic, that was already implemented ?
It talked about 3rd unit in knight line - Heavy Knight upgrade - Cavalier - just old proposed name was left.

Still, Cataphract should be implemented as its own unit.

can byzantine empire be considered 'late roman' ? then we could group it with rome after some age advancing tech or roman garrison upgrade, or should we make it stand-alone like hussars? what other notable units were there in byzantine?
