A little off point: I took a look at those first images I suggested in this topic. They were revolting! How could I think they were good, especially compared to the new ones?

U have no idea wat my first avatar looked like, too bad I deleted it I should have kept it as memory of my first pixel art, and for some good laughs too

If anything gets better with age, it's our skills as a pixel artist.

Besides, my first avatar, some may remember, was terrible. It was supposed to be a black circle with some markings in it, but the circle itself was more of an irregular shape.

ok i have tried in game and the truth is that the curent looks better imho - maybe the coloring makes itt look not realistic in your version idk (btw the team coloring was not right either).

I agree. I'll take one last shot at the TC graphic. One last revision. If I don't get it right, I'll move on to something else.

Here they are. I changed the image entirely, and I kept only one building from the previous image. Can you guess which one?
I'm willing to make editions to the image, but only if I know that the image has a chance of standing against the image currently in use for the TC.
I can honestly say I put a lot of work into this image, and that it is the best pixel image I've created thus far.

Is that a church?
Like the details, with those trees and fountain I think.

I didn't really intend for that to look like a church, but I suppose it could be a church. After all, the church was the Town Center of most villages back in those days.

So what kind of city it is?

I took some inspiration from the downtown of the town I live in. It's a small rural town, with some of the buildings built in the style of late 19th century. I know that is a little before the time WWII, which is I made the buildings seem to fit the 1940s style.

Think of it as your mid size village, not too small, not too big.

I see, well let's see what the others think, but I'm sure they are sleeping right now.

I'm sorry, I'm having some major file difficulties with the pictures. I tried to edit the first post with the pictures, but ended up screwing it up in ways I didnt know things could be screwed up. Here are the images.

I spent most of the day working on this, each pixel was drawn by hand. I'll have the castle done for you tomorrow, and in my time zone it is 11:27 p.m. Long story short, it won't be long.

These are very nice! You are getting good!

I'll make one last revision to the images, find any flaws with graphi6c and correct them. The next pictures I post will be my finals.

Here they are in all their final glory. I reckon I am done with them. What do you think, Stratego?
