Well i did really need him in AoS campaign i am preparing and later with some improvements, i will get it there in AoF.

Maybe I didn't understand or written something clear enough.
For unit I only need 32x32 or 32x64 px image - that one is here.
But for this thunder ability:
- icon (32x32px) - the thing that is shown as button
- projectile (as it is supposed to be explosion-like the best is making in-game animation) - that is displayed as an overlay for existing graphics in the center.
IT HAS TO BE .png file either :
a) single image for static projectile (with possibility of rotation)
b) consecutive images (from left to right) with the same distances and sizes for animated projectile
- optional sound file with ogg format
I don't know presented animation would look (probably bad as it doesn't replace unit image), but I have to have it in required format.

Here is example animation of moving projectile and chariot wheel blade ability. The ability was made with transparent pixels so chariot is still visible, u can make a transparent lightning ability without changing thor figure (or u can make lightning surround thor then u dont need transparency)
also notice that every frame is the same 32x32 in size but attached together like a magnetic film tape (u can also add more than 4 frames if u want to make it cooler and more detailed animation)

I'll only add, that it can be different size, e.g some explosions are 8 or 10 96x96 images.

So is it enough to make it sprite sheet 3x1.

U can only make hammer movement by animating base image, u cannot animate base image for spells only, and although it is possible to move vertically, for convenience all in-game spells r animated horizontally, u can make an only lightning appearing animation for the spell instead changing thor (else in game it will look like thor is standing still and another hand with hammer suddenly appears and moves separately when using spell, it will look wierd)

Well i am currently busy now at work. It could take a week to finish my job. I will reanimate it then. Is the icon looking good?

Icon is good, for animation u can make 64x64 image of lightning moving down then upon reaching grpund, it is expanding quickly in a horizontal ring
Or u can make the image of raising hammer the base image (thor will look cool that way) then simply use current lightning animation without thor in it

sorry but his "big" movement of animation will not look good,
also in theory in idle thor should not make this hammer thing.
this should be an ultimate attack animation or something (that we can not set currently by lack of engine capabilities)

Thanks. I will work on it once my job here is done. And i think i can involve the cape motion along with it without any overlay incapabilities.

. I will try my best to make the animation much usual but realistic. But the current animation, was inspired from a shot in this lego movie
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... on6FHCtSex clip trailer. But with the limitations we could possibly go for a lesser ultimate approach. And at the least, I only need it as the main character in my 11 map campaign i am spending my finger joints this far.
First i thought of renaming a similar looking unit as thor but the abilities were limited. And we have immense map editor units far from limits like sircookies and uncle sam.
The animation part. I will try an acute approach like an elephent stomp radially and an indicator animation of an electric beam directed towards his hammer as similar but slightly different from what i posted earlier.
And just to impress you, i will get the effectiveness of this animation in black.
