For now we only 1 have such aoe ability that should not affect allies:
Poison breath of skeleton dragon.

Other abilities should affect allies as well but not all of them should affect caster unit.
In truth that breath should actually affect friendly units, it is just that undeads should not be affected by the poison status effect.

ok.
I have now set preaching1 and 2 to m_castersdivinemodifiers.

however on the above mentioned arcane range tech i see this:
"trnCategories":["M_CASTERS_ARCANE_MODIFIERS"],
so it should work or that casted is not part od the arcane casters.

These are 2 different categories:

Divine: people that cast spells (miracles) granted from their gods.

Arcane: people that cast spells cause they study magic (how to alter the fabric of reality to make cool stuff).

Grenade launcher still does not damage allies.
Arcane range techs do not increase spell range of mage and warmage of humans.

i tested with the "blow me up" is that working?


Arcane range techs do not increase spell range of mage and warmage of humans. - this one will not be fixed, Alex will find out why.

ok, maybe i found arcane too, the reason i could not detect the problem for long becasue i checked elven arcan spells ... BOTH TECHS HAVING SAME NAME in game NOOOOOO!

This is ability of fodder cannon (all 3 tiers).
It deals 1 damage to targets instead of 10 and it also costs 1 hp of caster.

It should not reduce as for me hp of caster and should deal 10 damage to all units in its range.

ok i have found a bug of wrong enemy&allies damaging (as other environmentals were).
now i set it.

but the behaviour of it is still weird to me - please discuss with alexander if u still see it working wrong
(i could not figure out when and why it damageds and what unit lol :))

but now it damages allies too.

Shouldn't the hospitalar and it's mounted form be effected by the preaching tech too? They have range with 3 of their spells exorcism, disenchant, and heal.

In truth that one use a sacrifice (goblins only) and (should) deal damage equal to sacrifice hp but it doesn't work with environmental effects.

It's not normal for goblins to be this strong. They have to use their Grenada only once. (small idea)
