UK soldiers were equipped with pretty average weapons.
They should have bonus on sand, as they fought in those desert operations as well. Their stats should be similar to U.S. with more starting firepower, but less overtime.

All infantry must have the same speed. Their differences should be in HP and power.

sorry but how come they have more hp than a tank?

please make only slight hp difference on the current value (somewhere betw. 10-15) that is fairly balanced

It isnt! Infantry is truly useful on backs,to build factories. It's not balances and completely unrealistic. Infantry was main part of ww2 armies. Currently,AoWw games are just tanks and planes battles. Point of those hp changes is to make them any useful in combat.

but ok, i can ideologize higher hps:
maybe we can say a tank unit represents only 1-2 tanks
and infantry represent many infantry units (eg. 20-30 people) - idk how big squads were in reality.

this way we can raise their hp over tanks butin textings we need to be clear that these are XY umber of fighters represented by the infantry unit.

That's our point.
About texting how many mens does unit represent,I would left it for players imagination and map designers needs,same as it were in other variants. (In big part of AoS or AoF maps a unit isn't one men). I don't see need to describe it.

sure, not exactly buta term sqad or something that means 20-30 men will be required in them

Tanks could also form an army, so infantry having more hp than tanks is silly.

Maybe just add a word squad at the end of all infantries name is enough.

A lot of these were call signs and nick names, but I am not against this idea.

There are problems with the speed bonuses. German infantries can only move 2 tiles per turn on normal tiles. Russian rifleman can move 4 tiles on normal grass tiles.

Germans, russians and others must have normal speed on grass.
Germans must have lower speed on snow and forest only.

It's a bug I think. About the snow tile reducing speed, I guess it's not a good idea. The Germans will suffer in all snow map.

also only infantries - their transport units for infantries were pretty good to move through snow.

It's really not so good to have 4 speed for infantry. The bonuses make them move faster on realistically disadvantageous terrain. Giving them immunities to these weaknesses are okay, but the bonus speed makes them a lot more weird.

I suggest speed 3 for all infantries except for mgs. Right now smgs are replaced by mgs.

I also think light tanks bonus against infantries need to be increased. Light tanks will be the solution to kill infantries.
