I just unlock a soul Collector unit, and the Soul Collector Training tech, but I have no idea what the unit and it's powers do. I created a game and trained a Soul Collector, there were no abilities to activate, and the soul collectors power is 3, and it's health points is less then 20, so it's not a fighter unit.
I read the Soul Collectors Information Bio page, the bio does not give a description about the Soul Collector and it's abilities.

What role does the Soul Collector have in the Undead faction?

It works as a money courier. Same as elf wisp, dwarf miner or undead tresure ship.
