A nasty little buger that throws crap at its enemys

Can you be more elaborate? Like, is this a humanoid? Is it infantry or a big creature? What is the effect of its feces? What kind of stats should it have?

well its humanoid and the crap has their saliva in it and the effect when hit by it wouldd be a poisoning effect
you get damage from the initial hit then the poisoning effect
if thats not realistic then the projectile can be a big hit like a trebuchet
the beetle humanoid will be smaller than the projectile

If they just throw it with their... limbs then they probably should have 1 range.
Im not sure what are you talking about with that trebuchet.

Make their back legs launch the crap like a trebuchet or like when you pull the front of your finger back then let go of it and it flings forward

That's pretty much just a method of throwing, probably most effective if it won't break the bug's body, but I don't see it increasing the range very significantly.

Medium? That doesn't say anything without the context. Compare it to something. Is it cat sized? Human sized? Car sized? Whale sized?

yeah it would be inaccurate to just yeeting crap from your legs
so it would have splash damage
i just picture a poor ant getting a big ball of crap thrown at it
