A tech only for ships, not submarines as they don't want there presence known
The tech will increase the range of visibility underwater.
instead of the submarine being seen right in front of the ship, it can be seen two blocks away.





Note: Radar is not Sonar they are two different gadgets.

I'd say more like 3 tiles, to make it more worth it. Also, submarines do use sonar when they are below periscope depth. And, I think most destroyers had sonar by the beginning of the war.

surface ships used sonar but submarines didnt to avoid detection
