The current skins for the ships look outdated. I would like to reskin them. The current Soryu aircraft carrier looks great, and I'd like all of the other ships to have as much detail as it. They could be available as skins if needed.

I like that idea, Soryu has more very good skin, it would be unbelievable if all the ships were as good as him.

It's hard to do it.

Just doing one of them actually took much time than I thought I would.

I also don't feel like it's worth it for me.

But well, it's not like the other carrier are bad at all. Like how the US carrier is actually kinda off like that IRL. JP just have more details on their ship.

Also, if your talking about other ships.

It's actually even more hard as they lack space they actually need. Even the French and the Italian BS and destroyers are being pushed just so that they could fit.

i agree that compared to current ships small - but also looks AWESOME! so you are good in drawing!

Looks great. I would like to ask a small favor though. I am quite certain that the Bismarck class only had two gun barrels on each turret.

Right yes, i accidentally filled in the in-between of the barrels, thanks for pointing that out

Should i make her larger? It could be the angle of how I drew her that makes her seem small

I'm not sure you can make it much larger. And I believe that the captain of the Bismarck wanted the ship to be referred to with a male name.

Aah right, i just got used to referring to the ships as she since most of them are

ok, but it can not be more then 64px wide (that is why we have this position angle for big ships)

Alright i tried to angle it the same as the original and it's now 64 px wide and 128 px height so hopefully there should be no more problem

It is based off his actual silhouette and i tried my best to draw it

i think it is very good, but still seems "small".

maybe because of other ships we have.
so i have 2 ideas:
a) making all current ships to be this style and size
b) or trying this to be more facing to viewer so they probably will look bigger here is my mock to shopw what i mean:

or (with perspective tool) maíbe better more of a frontal view and far parts are smaller

i was just playing witht perspective and cage transform tools in gimp.

A would take a long time if its gonna be ALL ships but if it's only the German then perhaps it's doable

Can someone send the Italian BBs? I wanna compare their size Since they're a different style and it's inspired by them perhaps they have the same size as mine? Then just giving the rest of of the ships this style will pretty much be a complete redraw of the naval ships which then makes A a good choice imo

B and the usage of those tools could do as well and if A won't work

Idk perhaps someone else should handle this

Tho honestly it feels and looks more like a destroyer so i might change it to that instead

it looks like the game is having all its units remastered.

ok, then just the Sub, destroyer, and carrier pngs would work since most of the ships have the same design with different colors

And here's my take on one of the german DDs, wish i saw your comment first so that i was able to try it on this one

i think it look good!

maaybe if u make a mirror effect to water like the italian ship above it will look a little thicker.

It looks great, however I would shorten the front up a little bit, as it looks quite large, almost like a modern destroyer.
