There would be two types of these
One would be for giving factories resources
Two would be for transporting a large amount of troops not vehicles

I'm thinking about huge container ships that would have a troops on it to protect it from Somalian pirates
But I know that there are armored ships that can transport more

why shouldn't vehicles like tanks be transported? take the iraq war the us troops will surely have transported their large amount of vehicles by ship.
dev meant ships can take max 6 units. question would be if you take tanks with you then e.g. 2 slots can be taken. but i seem to remember that something like that is also not possible.

why would a tank take more space than many many men? (as an infantry unit is representing many men)

Well this ship is a container ship and maybe small armored vehicles can but not tanks
