the canvas is the problem
its not the correct size and you need transparency, just look in the settings if your using pixly

Thanks, this my first time, so really don't know how to go about it.

Yeah I'm using pixly can't find any options to change the canvas size and no idea what transparency is or where to toggle that on.

Step by Step
Canvas Size

• Click on the settings gear.

• At the top of the settings you can see the red rectangles with different labels: File, **preferences**, Social, View, Edit, Select, Color, and help.

• For Canvas Size and when selecting pixels, Click Edit.

• Go down and there should be Resize Canvas.

Toggle Transparency

• Ok, next Click on the Red rectangle named Color, cheerful bloke too

• The first button you should see is Toggle Transparency

• Note toggle transparency is Trippy and will make you want to throw up if you look at it for to long at first, but it is how u create "units" and not a mess of a creation

True the transparency is just awful was considering ditching it. Looks kinda weird trying to create the unit.

I'm not sure what the exact size of the canvas should be. So I left it 64X64 pretty sure have been hearing 32x32 or something, but It looked too awful and I'll have to start all over again; considering it's 1:31Am over here, figured why not try 64x64 and would restart at better times today if that's not acceptable.

Checked some units, most are 64x128 so went with that.

My first creation was the center of hell
It was suppose to be a panzer IV with a panther turret.
Let me tell you what u made is heavenly compared to mine so don't beat your self up, you'll be better than me in a few weeks XD

Also
The glove, the thing above the pencil
You can move your creation across the canvas

The standard size is 64x64 but if it exceeds that it can be 64x128

Like this, this needs to be 64x128 but I'm lazy but for now its 64x64 or close to it...
