The Koa were an elite warrior cast of Hawaiian society. They are named after the species of tree they used to fashion their weapons out of. Before going into combat, the Koa would shave their body and cover it with coconut oil so that their foe would be unable to get a solid grip in close quarters combat. To further aid them in this, the Koa only wore a loincloth.

The Koa were reportedly the creators of Lua, a martial art the focuses heavily on joint locks, bone breaking, strikes, usage of various weapons, and open ocean warfare. Only those in positions associated to the nobility were allowed to practice the martial art though commoners that were drilled into the army were taught the basics.

Seems like a cool unit.

So which weapon is the units choice. Or do it need additional abilities to switch weapons. (At a higher cost)

I was thinking a Spear in one and the fish hook in a northern like the the Maori warrior. But no throwing and no swich actions, how does that sound.

But fish hook was not used for anti building but for tearing down the mouths of the animals and peoples alike. So anti flesh and blood.

But i like to give a leiomano in a hand (anti building,anti heavy foot, anti shield bearer) and the second in stinger classes (as anti flesh and blood)

Yeah. But imho these wooden tools are too fragile to break down concrete structures and matallic armor sets or shields.

They also had non wooden weapons also. A stone helm is quiet ideal for dealing heavy , shield and structures. A metal flail is advocate for mass destruction in melee and short range. They also wielded metal and andesite made machetes for dealing with concrete works.
A secondary weapon will make this unit more efficient and can also get rid of under usage of primitive units.

Plus, although wooden and fragile, these shark teeth attachments would be vigorous to flesh and blood.

From the description, all these weapon were their second hand, and their primary weapon was fist locks and punches with an evident ability to use their finger nails efficient as grapplings in kunfu.
But we know these , in point of game's view is not even suitable to incorporate. So we assign some weapons like swords to beat down buildings. If we need anti buildings, i gave you a lot of weapons ideal for dealing with structures.

It will be good for reaching around smaller shelds or yanking them away with the corner it has
