For the purpose to trap and kill the victim.

Miss 10%
Mental resistances 100%
Special ability
Trap = take away action and turn
Unit type . Stealth, trap

Doesn't it apply just the same effect caltrops and wolf hole has? They both stop the unit's movement.

But much like leaving the unit vulnerable for the next turn.

Maybe it should disable the unit. I can't imagine a warrior attacking while hanging upside down.
Plus, it should only be placed at Forest tiles.

So Stats should be like this:
Cost: 1
Buildable by: Workers.
Hp: 2
att: 0
armor: 0/10
sight: 2
mental resistance: 100%
Effect:
Disables unit for 1 turn.
Categories:
Stealth, Traps.

Atleast slight dmg can do good in concept and last 2 for higher cost so the dwelling attackers can keep a distance and approch for attack before it gets enabled again.

Actually it should probably only affect Foot units. I don't think there will be much effect to cavalry.
For the disable to last 2 turns is tricky. Idk, maybe it'll do. But, if u cut the rope the moment you get ensnared you might be able to be free faster.

what if pole men had to stay tern for 2 terns but like a sword man only 1 turn. and yes, no Calvary, to heavy to be puled in to a tree

For Mobile i recommend an app called Pixly. For PC i use Graphicsgale.
To create a new sprite do a canvas with 32x32px or 32x64px. Don't forget to make the background look transparent.
I'd suggest to edit an existing sprite, it's easier and saves time.
Here is a template i used for making a few units. Pink is team color, Don't shade it or it will not work, but it can be lightened.

Try to make the unit when you know and feel it has a good chance of being added in. Implementation of new units may take Weeks, Months or even Years. So don't feel bad if you made a lot of effort in a unit and it isn't implemented the next day.
