Do you mean handcannon? According to a source the Handcannon or Handgonne was the first true fire-arm created. So i guess it is a gun.

There are historical accounts various Late Medieval Middle Eastern kingdoms using handcannon mounting camelry. One of such is called Zamburak, deployed ranging from Utsmaniah to Mughals.

Then we could use a change of weapons and name. Zamburak will do good.
I'll change the image to a Swivel gun if you guys are fine with that.

Wait, i think swivel gun is a little modern so i guess we can't use it.

Zamburack used a swivel gun, a propper light cannon...not a handgun, zamburak is not a good name for the concept badnorth has...
