We have a lot of new map makers in our community, and it is a common issue of losing the work due to unexpected crashes, unrecorded data, unintended uninstalling of apps, data managing apps automatically clearing underused data, etc.

So can the app save the saved ME maps as obb/data files in /storage/emulated/data or as recoverable addon or backup files, so as it can help map moderators to edit effected maps on upgrades(like losing campaign balance due to nerfing units in further updates) or recoverable on unintentional uninstalling.

I'd like it if Maps are saved when switching devices. Imagine having a huge campaign ongoing and suddenly your device broke. It'd be a total wreck.

I will support this as well.

It will help me a lot since actually only reason why i do not change my phone is because i can't loose and recreate my wip maps.

How much data could it contain?

It's tied to Google account.
The main disadvantage seems to be limitation of 25MB, that just stops any further backup.

1.That's why i mentioned saving it as addon or backup files than obb or data files will do the trick.
2.Also it can help players to share their developing maps to other players via community apps, for further development like, guys which are one good at balancing and storyboard and other good at efficient triggering.

How much data was more of a rethorical question.
Currently all campaign maps for AoS are <7MB and <1MB once zipped.
So unless someone would make 25 times more than all campaigns in game it should be fine.
While .obb is supposed to be used for other things and may have many problems.
