The Ilyushin Il-76 is a Soviet aircraft developed by Ilyushin in the mid-1960s when the Soviet Air Force requested the development of a jet, cargo, aircraft to replace the Antonov An-12 "cub" It is used to launch BMDs, ASUs and skydivers in addition to cargo transportation.
