Ju 88 Can't Attack Tanks ANSWERED

I built a Ju 88, and when it is next to an enemy tank, the target icon does not appear over the tank. If I tap on an adjacent enemy tank to try to attack it, a target icon instead appears over my infantry next to the enemy tank.
It has been a while since I played, but I thought I remembered that the help page for the Ju 88 included a damage bonus for tanks. Looking at it now, the "Damage bonuses" section only lists "Planes Bomber" and "Planes Noncombat", although the "Special abilities" section includes a damage bonus for tanks under the "Area bombardment" ability, and the "Categories" section of the page includes "Anti Tank". I wonder if I have forgotten since I last played that there is something else I need to do to in order to bomb a tank with a Ju 88?
