currently most light tanks in game are of little use for any situation, because for just 1 more cost you could get a medium which statistics wise are better at almost everything. Because of that i suggest buffing light tanks against infantry and giving them the ability to pin them down (just like the HMG)

but the USSR did not have light tanks, except for the specific PT-76. It will be very skewed. But to be completely honest, the BMP-1 can be considered a light tank with a stretch.

that's kinda what i wanted to do

Long story short they need a usefulness other than being one turn cheaper.

The bmp one Hit kills infantry But is one Hit Killer by anti armour. That's a very funy combination
