I Know this may sound weird and obscure but what about a Ao variant where toys fight each other.

Here the list of factions I have plan currently, most of them will probably be unbalance

Factions:
Plastic soldiers: I don't need to explain what units are in this one
Strengths: best at range, good air units, long range towers.
Weaknesses: low hp, terrible melee, low health towers.

Legos ( name still in progress to avoid copyright): units that consist of anything blocky.
Strength: versatile, best buildings and towers, best mending, good navy.
Weaknesses: low damage, bad air units, mediocre siege .

Robots: filled with units that resemble a robot .
Strength: tanky, best siege, good tech, best melee.
Weaknesses: expensive units, bad navy, bad early game.

Homemade: toys that are made by a child or a parent in a very short time.
Strength: can reused destroyed toys (corpses of this game), cheap, good tech, decent amount of debuffs.
Weaknesses: very weak units, lacks healing and other abilities to buff units, bad but cheap towers.

fantasy: filled with colorful knights, unicorns, dolls, stuff toys.
Strength: good melee, lots of buffs and debuffs abilities, good air units, best healing.
Weaknesses: mediocre towers, bad siege, mediocre hp, bad range units.

Also we have woody and co

Includes a tanky dinosaur, a giant snake-dog that can pounce from 2 range and also act like siege tower, allowing other units to move over enemy walls and towers, a potato worker to make factories, they have powerful cavalry cowboys with rope binding debuff, red monkey spams, a shepherd that can summon sheep and also gets kidnapped by bad guys which buffs woody to become the op cliche hero who saves the damsel in distress, a super fast remote controlled f1 race car, and buzz lightyear and his 3 green alien minions, anything else i m missing?

this is actually pretty good...and the fact that it has few factions/races is good for a variant, so it can be launched pretty soon...i hope this gets accepted and supported

A very late reply but I didn't expect this much support for my weird idea.

I tell that is a better idea than my Neuroshima inspired "age of Apocalypse"
