Age of Strategy Forums

For about a couple of weeks now I have been getting background turn notifications even when there is no turn to take. It happens quite frequently, but it is not constant (ie there are times that I have no turns to take and no notifications).

There are no "missing" games in the other lists, and I try all the obvious tricks: allowing time for full refresh, closing and reopening the app, even the Caveman Reset (turn phone off and on again), but I still get notified of a turn but no games are on my turn.

This normally carries on until I decide to do something a bit more constructive with my time or get a real turn to take.

Anyone got any ideas what's going on here?

I believe the possiblity to skip someone gives notifications too, maybe that's the issue.

Thanks Stratego - User name is also phoenixffyrnig. As I say, it has been ongoing for a while, possibly coinciding with the last update (cannot say for sure), and was continuing to occur whilst I wrote the original post couple hours back, and (just checked) even right now.

If what Midonik says is correct then don't bother, because I am currently waiting on a few people.
