The insectoid battlemecha is very slow, expensive, and poorly armed. It should get a bonus vs armour and structures.

I agree to its need to get a small bonus of some sort. Compare human super heavy.

WHICH battlemech?

The Hercules bettle mecha.

I don't want to give it bonuses against vehicles because it will become similar to the other beetle - and they already look samey. I don't really see the rationale for the building bonus, also I feel giving bonuses to a unit that has charged beam that increases the attack a lot.

A straight buff to attack seems better. I'd also move it to the vehicle factory building and tcs. Insectoids could use more tanky vehicles there.
