Trying to change parts of the idea
They are often used for skirmishing and charging though often not working but can still be quite decisive at times.
They use a spear which can be used as a javelin or a lance and sword as a side arm. For armor, they did wear decent armor but not as much as a heavy infantry with their horses not having any.
Citizen Cavalry
Only in greek building and temple or just in temple
Medium Cavalry (skirmisher?)
Most stats are same as above with some addition.
Atk: 8-9
Ability
Thrown Javelin
Though the damage and bonus will be same as throw Pilum
Bonus: same as knight

I was not comfortable with 3 turn full time cavalry without it.
With ability is definitely not fitting cost 3.

i think a medium-light melee cavalryfor hellenic is great since the only option is companion, which is great, but this one could be like equites or templair mounted seargent that can be produced at tc after building the factory...this wouldnt be that fast nor that fragile.
i would also like some more ancient mercenaries like thracians, rodhian slingers, dardanians, agrianians, etruscans, samnites, mercenary elephants, tarantines (for both rome and hellenic)
