are there clans or guilds or the like?

hey everybody,
i am a pretty new and inexperienced player.
nonetheless, i already really love this game and i might likely keep on playing for a long time. even though i will be losing way more than winning games, for the foreseeable future.
i am wondering whether this game has a clan or guild system or the like. i have so many questions, there is so much i dont yet understand, and cooperation is also something that interests me.
so ... are there clans or guilds or something like it?
