Rise of Namu - Retaliation of Namu

Hi AoS community,
Is there a solution to win this map.
I fail all the time in android version.

Any help is appreciated.

Creator here.
I don't think it's still possible to get 3 stars on it but to win is possible.

A tactic you can do is to skirmish until you can set up a solid defense. Use the fisherman also to greatly reduce the enemy.

Just create a wall, then a wall until you succeed in creating some that the enemy can't push through.

The tactic is to bog down the enemy until you have the upper hand.

And don't try to fight them fairly until the end game.

I modeled this one on some real-life historical tactics. And it's funny how this works. Though the only reason why it works is because the enemy is AI.

Which unit I should use to create a wall?
Peasant with shovel doesn't work in this map. In the other maps of the campaign there's the possibility to create a tower as wall.

Is this a problem of the android version?

I just played the game some hours ago and the peasant with shovels do work and can create a wooden wall. I'm also using android version but actually, this game should have been only available on android.

They create wood walls though I don't know if you have to buy them in the gem store.

About the tower, it kinda bugs back then so it was hard and frustrating to set up the campaigns. This is (the map) actually one of the only perfect maps where it worked as I intended.

Dang, my grammar back then was so awful.

@DreJaDe, so is map possible to be done for 3 stars in given turn limit?
If not, shall I change the limit in next pack (changing turn limit is easy modification, that doesn't need editing map in editor, just file)?

I finished it in 13 turns so it's good for that for 3 stars.
I think it can be done faster though.

Set to 15/20.
Turn limit doesn't have to be only achievable doing most perfect possible play.
Especially for medium campaigns.
And especially if triggers punish player so much already.

I'm also currently playing this campaign.
Thanks DreJaDe for creating it!!

I'm having a problem with getting 3 stars on map 2 "Namu's Retaliation" .

Is there a certain trick? I keep building Watch Towers to stay clear of enemy attacks but the Lancers take too little damage from my units so it just takes too long to bring them down.

After very many tries i made it once in 12 turns, but 9 turns to get the 3 stars seems to be impossible.

Any hints?

Some units have different stats I think it's impossible to get 3 stars without spells

Yeah, idk what changed but it I seem to only be easily able to beat it 10 but not 9.

Kinda weird.

But the technique is to be aggressive enough and be defensive enough.

Abuse every stats you could use. Like attacking knowing your unit will survive the counter just to kill your enemy.

There's also luck since, for some reason, fisherman's net misses even though the enemy lancer doesn't have spell resistance.

I think for net thrower net, the target unit hp act as resistance, if u can make lower hp of lancer it will then b easier for net thrower to use his spell,

Ok, so you say it is "easily able" in 10 turns?
I never even get near that :D Maybe I'm just too careful with my units...

BTW, also for map 3 "Herens Have Come" I don't see it possible to win in 10 turns.
Anybody else did it?

Well, I was the maker of the map.

I obviously tested it a lot that it kinda is still ingrained in my mind.

Being defensive with the units you have is normal. But the goal of that campaign is to teach you that you should know when to be defensive and offensive.

Though I think it being a repetitive type of campaign made that lesson gone.

Map 3 is still ok.

That map was supposed to be a mistake but it seems that because of that, the map can still be completed easily in 10 turns.

The tip is that the first turn is the most decisive turn. You need a specific wall to build basically that is only available at turn 1.

Well yes, I build that wall in the first turn and hide my units behind it. (Thanks for that hint anyway.)
It just takes too much time to take the Knights out. I don't even get close to the 2 star result.
When I pull the non-ranged units out of the wall, they get killed and game is over...
I'll keep trying!
