Stone pavement and wooden bridge

So, I was making a map and I noticed something.
There's nothing that is like a ancient city feel. I don't really know what that means.
But basically, a terrain that could be used in a city setting. So yeah, basically, I made one.
Same also with the wood bridge.
The bridge that is available in the random map editor is kinda not really a bridge.

Oh yeah, later on. I might make some more terrain that could go along with this. Like these stone pavements but with barriers instead.
The one I made is quite loose because I don't want them to be only used to connect with a single terrain. But if it's like this, I know that this would just be a decoration type is put on the game. So yeah, making one that will really get along with this I think would be good.
Hope that's okay.

Wait - how to connect those two types?
Roads are on decoration layer - would pavement be too?
What type of terrain would it represent - common ground, like grass?
Adding anything as main terrain would create a need to make joins with other types of terrain or else it would look bad.

The one named stone road wasn't supposed to be a road but it can be one honestly so I named it as such. The stone pavement 2 can actually be just an option instead of the stone road but because I can't choose, I just put both since I was done with both anyway.
In my.imagination, stone pavement 2 and stone road are going to be indeed decoration type while stone pavement 3 are the main one.
And in map making, I just need to do some minor specific editing and I could make them look connected like inner city roads connecting to outside city roads. But with this, if bonuses are indeed added, there might be some problems idk.
Not sure If this is what you are asking though...

I have added terrain bridge, which properly joins with water and ground (treats ground as other bridge).
It was really a long way, full of hardships, that included helping a little with code changes to make it work.
But it's also a nice proof of concept, that 3rd type of terrain can be included in joins.
Stone road added too.
Pavement type 2 in the works as a road on decoration layer.

Wow, that's a lot of work.
Good work!
I have thought of making the good bridge look something like the big tile set but definitely not that massive one.
I don't even know how they would look.

Added those pavements.
For main one I have made attached terrain join for pavement-other terrains.

Wow, didn't thought of that reply.
I was thinking of maybe people would not like this idea much and would only pick one because it would be redundant to have them all.
Apparently not.

It looks really good and i must admit i would like to see it in aof.
Alas question — will they be on terrain level or on decoration level?

Bridge, pavement and road-like pavement on terrain layer.
Uneven paved road and framed paved road on decoration.
Upon finishing pack - I'll ask stratego to copy terrain definitions and their joins to AoF, but I think it was already the plan.

those are good news - to have more things to use on terrain layer.
