Elves thrower unit really need boost to compete vs other races after respective upgrades (exclude melee vs building thrower unit that they haven't).

Seeing to it, imho elves clear vision buff should also affect their thrower unit as it's unique only to elves ranged units (incl. thrower unit).

Clear vision spell will not affect throwers since it does not increase muscle mass of unit that can increase attack range. It just gives better sight and because of that you can aim your bow/gun/dart much better to target vital points of enemy.

But we had in plans separate to throwers buff for elves indeed that will be available for different caster.

It is not.
It is designed to affect ONLY shooters so why it must affect throwers?

We specifically divide buffs into several ones (orcs will have 3 buffs for attack for different units — for melee orc strength, for throwers spell on troll shaman, for shooters on goblin shaman). Or do you want to unify them once again so horde archers will get extra attack from all 3 abilities at once (+18 via orc strength, +9 via troll agility and +6 via goblin dexterity for +33 attack in total)?

It will become a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS PROBLEM if clear vision will affect throwers. Especially ent demolisher.

If it wi affect throwers than WITHOUT EXTRA RANGE.

Ent demolisher not a thrower.
I think bolas thrower with clear vision will be most problem then.

But anyway after increase base range for elves throwers to 3 from 2. They stand useful enough. So more range for them is wrong - clear vision should not affects throwers.

That not a balance problem for me
