That's actually not right.

[Misc] is attack category and is assigned to units not being neither [Ranged], nor [Melee], nor [Impact].
Not sure why exactly it has [Melee] category (is there some bonuses from it? - I'd have to check), but it excludes [Misc].

So it could be recategorised, but not sure if it has to be.

Hm, fair enough, forgot to check the closest comparison on this one: banner bearer, which is also not [Misc], so that makes sense.
