Corrupted humans- Damphir

Here, for corrupted human units you can aquire via possessing a human worker and building there corresponding factory's:

Fire archer (try to make different flame for him since he will get slightly different burning effect)

That sounds like a lot of effort, and an enormous number of choices for players, exponentially increasing complexity.

Well to obtain them you need to possess enemy worker in the fiest place.
Possession ability will be presented only on banshee and ability range will be fixed melee range.

So to obtain them you will need a lot of effort.

Also, just in case:
Against orcs in duel you will not be able to obtain humans, elves, dwarves or scalefolks in the first place.

Basically it will be a reward for obtaining worker of opponent race.

To clarify, its a lot of effort on part of the Developers. Instead of adding dozens of new units types unlockable through one Hyper specific way, you can work through a huge backlog of potentially new units.

I kinda agree

Though I think, they are already working on other parts of the game which just this being an update for like 1-2 years later. Lol

It is not like we will work on all of them anytime soon.
And since anyway they mostly will be copy paste stats wise of existing units it will not take too much time.

We are on the finish line of releasing dwarves and scalefolks from work in progress label.
Once ready we will work on buildings update and magic update. Maybe on both of them at once.

Also such minor details (since all 5 are obtainable via single unit of undeads basically) while they are time consuming they will add quite unique atmosphere to the game.

Yes.
Other races might get some variants of convert ability but with highly limited functionality.

Not even nearly close to undeads.
